Seurat (which takes its name from French Neo-Impressionist painter Georges Seurat) was founded in 2000 helps companies streamline relationships with customers, employees, suppliers and partners. Hepworth & Company was founded in 1990 and specializes in customer retention strategies.
"Seurat's acquisition of Hepworth reinforces the value of our experience and our people," said Michael Hepworth, Hepworth & Company's CEO. "We look forward to combining our expertise with Seurat's technology and business strategy consulting experience."
Hepworth and Paula Mateus, Hepworth's president, will become managing directors at Seurat. They will be responsible for business development, client service and development of proprietary database and measurement tools.
As a result of the acquisition, Seurat will take an active sponsorship role in the Customer Contact Strategy Forum, which was founded by Hepworth. CCSF, operated as a separate company from Hepworth, offers member companies a forum for solving customer relationship problems.
It has more than 350 senior level executives and sponsors throughout the United States and Canada and is planning to expand into Australia.
Both companies are privately held and do not disclose financial information. In addition to its Hub headquarters, Seurat has offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Indianapolis, and Tampa.
