The Prevail Solutions Suite won the Technology Marketing Corporation's CRM Award of Excellence for 2000, Cincinnati's Pinnacle Award in 2000, and the 2001 Silver Editors Choice Award by Lotus Advisor Magazine. The Web-enabled, single interface tools create real-time knowledge, collecting and disseminating it throughout an enterprise, while also documenting and integrating customer interactions with sales, marketing and product development.
Authoriti enables companies to develop knowledge communities and manage enterprise knowledge and content, integrating it with relevant external information.
Arcidea has brought in Debi Bailey, formerly Southeast regional manager with IT Factory, Inc., to help both customers and the products through the transition. "We are very conscious of the anxiety a purchase like this creates," said Dixon. "We do not envision a future where there is not a reasonable upgrade path for existing customers. In fact, we have already begun discussing our options and what best serves the expectations of those customers. No one will be left with a dead product."
This acquisition comes on the heels of another agreement forged between the two companies, allowing Arcidea to OEM IT Factory's CRM and Employee Relationship Management (ERM) software under the Arcidea brand. Under the agreement, IT FACTORY provides ongoing research and development for the applications while Arcidea advances the software toward specific vertical markets. Arcidea also takes responsibility for selling the applications through its direct sales force as well as its global business partner channel.
