BMC Software has recently announced three new applications on the BMC ServiceDesk on Force.com solution. As reported on TMCnet, the new applications are change management, problem management and configuration management database (CMDB).
"With these new apps BMC Software (News - Alert) is making it easier for IT organizations to embrace cloud-based tools that transform the way people work, according to BMC officials.
"The new cloud-resident applications add increased layers of depth, visibility and functionality within the affordable simple format of Force.com, salesforce.coms enterprise cloud platform, company officials said.
"According to Kendall Collins, chief marketing officer at salesforce.com, these new applications enable BMC Software to provide customers with the best-in-class service desk functionality, built on the worlds leading enterprise cloud platform."
