Tableau Software this week announced the release of version 6 of the company's business intelligence software. 

Tableau Software has just released the latest version of its flagship business intelligence product, Tableau 6. The new iteration has some major improvements.

At the top of the list of advances is speed, according to eCRMguide.com. According to the company, Tableau 6 is 100 times faster than the previous version. The release also improves upon the ability to directly connect with Microsoft's SharePoint collaboration and document manager. Version 6 includes the ability to blend multiple data sources with a single click and adds in-memory analytics.
