Webtrends Offers Advanced Analytics for SAP Web Channel Experience Management

Thanks to integration with SAP’s Web Channel Management application, Webtrends Advanced Analytics offers SAP-specific insights into the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, commerce and online customer service efforts.

The Webtrends Advanced Analytics module, a digital marketing solution that gathers and analyzes data from sources including tags, feeds, APIs and public data, has achieved SAP-certified integration with SAP’s Web Channel Experience Management 2.0 application. 

According to Webtrends, its software integrates with SAP solutions, providing analytics related to campaigns, commerce, shopping cart and customer support scenarios with no configuration. The extensible data model of the software-as-a-service application enables advanced segmentation, visitor scoring and integration with SAP’s CRM application and its BusinessObjects solutions for advanced business intelligence.

Webtrends says its customers will receive SAP solution-specific insights, along with the ability to perform side-by-side comparisons of other digital assets, including data resulting from mobile, social, site and other campaign efforts.

Webtrend’s products offer capabilities similar to those of Vitrue, a digital marketing specialist snapped up by Oracle last week.

In addition, Webtrends has joined the SAP PartnerEdge program as an SAP software solution and technology partner. Through the program, partners work closely with SAP to develop and certify the technical integration of their solutions with SAP software. Webtrends is also a member of the SAP EcoHub solution marketplace, a community-enabled online site that makes it easy for customers to discover, evaluate and purchase products that complement their SAP apps.

Webtrends clients include The New York Times, Microsoft, BMW, RIM, China Telecom, China Mobile, Hitachi and HSBC.
